Step 1: Just do it!

Nike said it well with their memorable slogan, Do It. We all say, “this will be the day I start eating well or join the gym or perhaps take up yoga.” Well, stop saying it and just do it. That’s right, it’s that easy. Often times our minds give us excuses like “I don’t have enough time”, “it takes too long to juice my veggies”, or “it’s way too expensive”. Remember it is very easy to find an excuse to NOT do something but if we just make time, get organized, and/or reallocate resources we can do anything (as cheesy as that may sound).

Health-and-productivityTake a Quantum Leap. As I discovered from Dianne Collins, the brilliant author of Do You Quantum Think, a quantum leap is when something- in this case the mind- shifts to another perspective or “higher plane of knowledge” without any explanation of how it got there. Imagine yourself right now: you probably see YOU in your physical body viewing people or things outside of you. Next, imagine yourself as an astronaut in outer space looking down at earth. Your perspective changes instantly. This is a quantum leap. Shift your context and any of your goals can be achieved immediately. Want to be healthy and free of dis-ease, you have to THINK like a healthy person free of dis-ease. Just like that your perspective changes ….and your goal is attained.

So, if you want to write a book, excel at work, or make a kick ass recipe, then just do it. Stop thinking about the circumstances that hold you back and take a quantum leap into the circumstances that make you achieve your goal(s). We all know that eating whole foods connected to the source (or the earth) gives us more energy, less dis-eases, and an overall lift in vitality, and yet I hear so many people come up with excuses of why they can’t. My favorite one is, “it’s too expensive”. Americans spend an average $3 per day at Starbucks. How about spending those three bucks on a beet, IT’S ABOUT CHOICES PEOPLE!

I encourage you to take a quantum leap and rid yourself of excuses because if you really want to do get it done, you just do it!

Sending Love,

Victoria
